Description

Activities

No special activity programs, day care, or baby-sitting are provided for children. Well-behaved children are welcome, but you must supervise your children.

Horses, hunting dogs and small pets are welcome, but you are expected to provide food and care for your animals. You are expected to clean up after your animals, or an additional charge of $25 each per night will apply. Your horses may be placed in the corral. You are expected to provide cages or leashes for small pets (we lost a small dog to an eagle). Pets may be kept in the veranda, but not inside the lodge.

Hunting opportunities include black bear, elk, moose, deer, geese, ducks and grouse. River, stream and lake fishing is nearby. Wilderness excursions can be made by horse, ATV or sled. There are riding and hiking trails. Opportunities for bird-watching abound. Two golf courses are also nearby. Relaxation and fellowship around a camp fire is another important activity.

Your safety is your responsibility. You are close to wilderness. Wild animals are common, and are dangerous. Wilderness trails have steep hills, fallen trees and low branches.
